I am very proud and excited about our new location on Bruce Street. Waterloo region finally has a one stop, environmentally conscious, customer service oriented grocery experience.
Fiddleheads Nutrition, Kara Fruit and Vegetables, and the Healthy Butcher have all joined David’s for a fantastic one shop experience.
Serving a huge selection of truly organic products, mostly from local farms. We also use all recycleable containers, along with biodegradable shopping bags.
David’s Gourmet alone offers over 10,000 products. Fiddleheads offer the regions best selection of gluten free and health conscious products. The Healthy Butcher concentrates on only local organics butcher products, most cut and prepared on site. And last but not least Kara’s, an institution at the St. Jacob’s market for over 20 years, offers the freshest and best selection of local and exotic fruits and vegetables in Waterloo Region.
We look forward to having you come give us a try, we are confident our friendly service, great environment, and superb selection will keep you coming back!

I was just at your new store on Saturday and it is fantastic! I had lamb sausage and it was the best sausage I ever had.
You did a great job you should be proud.
What is happening with the downtown Kitchener store, it is half empty and it looks like it is going to close?

Is this store actually a “david’s gourmet”? I had gift cards that I received for Christmas and I was told I couldn’t use them at that location. Very missleading if you ask me…

I am sorry to hear that Adam. I am the orginal founder of all the stores. My ex wife has been running the Waterloo and downtown Kitchener stores. I am running the Bruce Street location.
All the gift certificates issued in the new Bruce Street store are for all the stores in complex. (DG, Fiddleheads, Kara’s and the Healthy Butcher)
We tried to make it work to accomodate, but it just became very complex. I want to offer the best customer service possible, but in this case it just could not be worked out.
I am sorry for any challenges.
Thank you,
David.

I heard your chef have a recipe for apple crisp with brown sugar cube topping? Could I get it, or is a a secret?
