Description: Only a tiny fraction of the wonderful things you’ll find at David’s Gourmet are shown here. First things first. Chocolate. Three cheers for all those antioxidants keeping us looking young! Isn’t it comforting to know that, once in awhile, there’s something positive for a food one loves? While there are 1,500 shops in France that sell award-winning Michel Cluizel chocolate, there are very few in Canada. It’s available in dark or milk chocolate, in 100 gm bars ($7.99) or 30 gm squares ($2.99). David now has eight different Cluizel bars, with more to follow.
Each box of Mighty Leaf Tea ($13.99) contains 15 pouches of whole leaf tea, which both looks and smells like a gorgeous potpourri.
The Just For Joy Tortilla Soup Con Queso mix ($6.99) serves five or six and even has a tiny bottle of Tabasco attached for those who like it hotter.
Garofalo is a superior pasta imported from Italy. This bag is 500 gm of whole-wheat fusilli ($3.49).
David’s best-sellers are his dips and spreads, which are designed and made on-site.There are, as well, lots of time saving ready-to-go meal items you can pick up. How about having the chef make an entire party for you to take home? Or alternatively, he’ll come to your kitchen to prepare it.
In the next week or so, David’s line of gluten-free products will have grown to well over 200 items. Watch for news of his expanded location and information about a big tasting day.
